Impact4Paint moves deliberately between two poles of modernism: between the precision of concrete construction and the immediate energy of the free line. Out of a spontaneous movement, a deterministic system of rhythm, repetition, motion and structure arises.
The line does not begin as a parameter - but as an action.
The gesture as starting point
Every work begins with a line drawn by hand in the preview window. No template, no symbolic meaning - only the direct trace of a decision.
Lines respond to one another. Drawing close to an existing path automatically produces interlocking, overlays and new spaces of movement. Gesture answers gesture.
The system behind the movement
What begins freely is carried over by Impact4Paint into a precise, fully reproducible system.
Elements move along the drawn paths according to clearly defined rules:
* rhythmic periods per layer * deterministic swarms and distributions * easing, drift and rotation * oscillating or continuous movement * layered structures and traces * reproducible seeds instead of uncontrolled chance
Chance remains controllable. Every distribution can be reconstructed exactly. Out of a one-off movement, a constructed kinetic system arises.
Not an effect - a structure
Impact4Paint does not produce mere animation effects. The result is an exportable structure.
The calculated and smoothed paths are exported as lean, dependency-free QML - consisting of pure paths and a lightweight mover system with which any objects can be moved along the generated structures.
The original gesture is preserved, but it becomes technically precise, reproducible and transferable into other systems.
Between art, movement and technology
Impact4Paint joins gestural drawing with algorithmic construction. The hand sets the impulse - the system develops order, rhythm and movement out of it.
The result is work that is spontaneous and exact at once: free lines, translated into reproducible kinetic structures.
